Louis Alexander, is one of the world’s youngest professional adventurers and a three-time world record holder.  Recognised by Guinness World Records as the first and only person in history to both run marathons on all Seven Continents and swim marathon distances across all Seven Seas, Louis has tested human endurance in some of the planet’s most  challenging environments — from running through torrential rains deep in the Amazon Rainforest and across the frozen continent of Antarctica, to swimming in the scorching  waters of the Arabian Sea.

His journey has been featured by National Geographic, BBC News, Men’s Fitness, Sky News, and Heart Breakfast, establishing him as one of the most compelling voices in modern adventure.

Today, Louis works in two distinct roles: as a brand ambassador for leading global companies, and as an international speaker, motivating audiences — from schools to corporate clients — to embrace the spirit of adventure and bring curiosity, courage, and resilience into everyday life. He has inspired tens of thousands across Europe, Asia, and North America — including as a Guest Speaker at 10 Downing Street.

Louis is now on a mission to achieve 10 world records and raise over £1 million for dementia research by the age of 30. Through his adventures and message, he is redefining what exploration means for a new generation — and what it truly means to be a modern-day adventurer.

A young voice for dementia
Louis has become one of the leading voices for dementia advocacy in the younger generation – using his platform in the media to raise
awareness and funds for dementia research, diagnosis, care and beyond. Speaking of his Grandfather, Louis said: “My Grandad was Captain Rick Taylor. He served in the British Army for 38 years – serving all around the world. But it was sadly his 17-year long battle against dementia which ended his life. Aged 19, at his funeral, I had the privilege of delivering the eulogy, and in front of family and friends I made a promise. A promise to support the fight against dementia until the day we find a cure. That started with climbing Kilimanjaro at 19, a mountain my Grandad dreamed of climbing after the Army, but sadly never had the opportunity, and has inspired every challenge since. From World Records, to international expeditions, I want to use the platform of these adventures for something bigger than myself – and I want to play a small role in finding a cure for one of the most cruel diseases in the world. I will never give up on my promise.”  Alongside raising tens of thousands for charity – Louis is also hoping to play a role in inspiring government and policy leaders to invest more into dementia funding. In 2024, upon returning home from his final expedition during his running project, Louis delivered his Open Letter to 10 Downing Street – prompting an official response from the Prime Minister on dementia diagnosis in the UK.

2023 | Running The Seven Continents
In December 2023, Louis successfully completed his first global project by running marathons in the most remote locations of all Seven Continents. From the scorching heat of the desert to torrential rainstorms in the Amazon and the freezing temperatures of Antarctica, he faced numerous challenges.  His incredible journey garnered widespread attention, featuring in major outlets such as National Geographic, Sky News, and ITV News, and internationally in North America and Australia. During the journey, Louis carried an Open Letter to the Prime Minister, urging action on dementia diagnostics in the UK. After completing his final marathon in Antarctica, Louis delivered the letter to 10 Downing Street, where he received a personal reply from the Prime Minister, accompanied by a commitment to improve national dementia diagnostic statistics.

2024 | Swimming The Seven Seas
In summer 2024, Louis completed seven marathon swims across the classical Seven Seas in seven weeks. He endured the intense heat of the Arabian Sea, navigated jellyfish-filled waters in the Black Sea, and braved the cold waters of the North Sea. The feat captivated global audiences, earning over 600 news outlets worldwide, across television, radio and newspapers in the UK, and The Morning Show in Australia.

2025 | The Australian Capitals Run
In September 2025, Louis became the first person in history to complete eight consecutive marathons across all eight Australian capital cities, finishing the challenge in just 6 days, 23 hours and 40 minutes. He covered more than 330 km on foot and travelled more than 6,000 miles between cities each evening, all while navigating temperature changes of over 30ºC. The project was launched at the Australian High Commission in London and received major media attention in both the UK and Australia, with highlights including Men’s Fitness, ITV London and Sunrise, Australia’s highest-rated breakfast show.
