Guvna B

Business & Journalism graduate Guvna B, at 27 years of age, is a multi-award winning, record-breaking rap artist from London. He became the first rapper in UK history to top the Official Christian & Gospel charts, and his most recent No. 1 release SECRET WORLD was the UK’s highest selling urban Christian album in 2015.  Guvna B’s stage presence is proven, in addition to performances at The O2 Arena and Wembley, thousands in Asia, Africa, Europe, Australasia and North America have witnessed his performances along with full band and DJ.
Guvna B has come a long way since the age of 14 when he was expelled from school three times and admits to mixing with ‘the wrong crowd’.  He feels the turning point in his life came when one of his teachers recognised his potential and started to mentor him.  The teacher became a role model and a real inspiration to Guvna B and was instrumental in turning his life around.

Guvna B’s journey so far has seen a lot being achieved within a short space of time.  By the age of 20, Guvna B had won the prestigious MOBO Award and there were more awards to follow. He has worked with highly acclaimed artists such as Matt Redman, Hillsong Music, Destiny Child’s Michelle Williams, LZ7, Nick Brewer, Jocelyn Brown, Keisha Buchanan, Deitrick Haddon and more. He has shared stages with the likes of Tinie Tempah, Wetch 32, Kirk Franklin and Lecrae plus his story was shared with many in March 2015 when he appeared in nationwide music magazine ‘Music Week’. He is also the owner of ‘Allo Mate’, which is an urban lifestyle brand he founded in January 2013.

Now a highly popular motivational speaker, Guvna B draws from personal experiences and observations he has made growing up living in the gritty and fast paced suburbs of London.  He inspires his audiences with his story, providing them with messages of hope and courage, he encourages youth to deal with emotion, to reach their full potential and never give up.
