Famous for her TV and radio work on shows such as Whose Line is it Anyway, Sandi’s witty way with words has won her many fans. Sandi Toksvig was awarded a first class degree in law, archaeology and anthropology (Cambridge) and won prestigious prizes for academic achievement too. Sandi appeared in various Footlights Productions and at Cambridge she was the Director/Writer of the first all female Cambridge Revue in which she also performed.
A talented writer, Sandi has written witty articles, revue sketches, scripts, dramas, screen-plays, children’s books and co-authored a documentary series for the BBC with John McCarthy (another one of our speakers at Room54 Ltd).
Her theatrical experience includes performing in Shakespeare’s plays. Sandi’s wit, charm and intelligence have ensured continued success as a comedy writer and performer in television and radio.
