Humphrey Walters

Humphrey Walters has considerable experience in developing high performance teams and leaders – and he has the wit and the wisdom to know how to impart that knowledge.

He was a company chairman who had the courage to leave his desk behind and take a year out to take part in the BT Global Challenge – the world’s toughest yacht race that involves a ten month 33,000 mile epic journey across dangerous seas. He now uses the lessons learnt from that – teamwork, motivation and leadership – to show how you can go beyond self-imposed limitations.

He also tells how his management and leadership techniques helped rejuvenate the English Rugby team to believe, really believe, that they could win the World Cup. He has practical lessons and advice that has been shared with audiences at the Henley Management College, for example, and military personnel at Sandhurst.

He co-founded MaST International, a worldwide organisation devoted to the development of Management and Skills Training for individuals, teams and organisations. Feedback affirms that Humphrey is a very inspirational speaker.
