Michaela Strachan speaks on the following topics:
One of Britain’s most loved television presenters, BAFTA award-winning Michaela Strachan has been presenting since 1986 on a variety of programmes from The Wide Awake Club to The Hitman And Her, The Really Wild Show to Michaela’s Wild Challenge, Elephant Diaries to Countryfile to Springwatch and many many more. She started off presenting children’s programmes but these days is known as a wildlife presenter and has travelled all over the world filming animals and conservation projects.
Michaela is much in demand for personal appearances, award ceremonies and presentations. Her natural effervescence and engaging humour endear her to corporate and educational audiences alike. In summer 2018, Michaela completed a tour of the arena spectacular Walking with Dinosaurs playing the part of Huxley the palaeontologist with a cast of life sized animatronic dinosaurs.
Michaela is an ambassador for Breast Cancer Now and supports many Wildlife Charities including The Animal Asia Foundation, The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, The Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation, Secret World, SANCCOB, Home from Home, World Vision and TEARS, the animal shelter in Cape Town that her lovely dog Rio was adopted from.
