AP McCoy

AP McCoy is the greatest jump jockey of all time. The 18 times champion jockey has won everything there is to win – including the prestigious Cheltenham Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase, King George V1 Chase and the 2010 Grand National.AP is currently just 3 wins away from recording 4,000 career wins ‘ an unbelievable achievement (and he has ridden the equivalent of one and a half times around the world). He owns all the jump jockeys’ records for reaching career milestones in the fastest time. Due to his outstanding success and popularity, AP was named BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year in 2010; the first jockey to win the award.

As President of the Professional Jockeys’ Association, AP enjoys public speaking; his experience, humour and personality endears him to any audience. He is a hugely popular after-dinner speaker and his Q&A sessions are insightful, inspiring and lively affairs.

AP is a regular contributor on Channel 4 Racing, The Morning Line, on BBC TV and talkSPORT. He has a weekly racing and football slot on Radio 5 Live. AP is also William Hill’s official ambassador, as well as the Face of this year’s Cheltenham Festival. He is a knowledgeable fan of all sports and has appeared on programmes such as A Question of Sport, ESPN, Setanta Sport and Soccer AM. AP is about to publish a fictional novel called ‘Taking the Fall’and his autobiography has received acclaim throughout the sporting and non-sporting world.
