Zac Purchase added a London 2012 silver medal to his Beijing 2008 gold in a thrilling finale of the lightweight double sculls with his rowing partner Mark Hunter.  The pair were involved in one of the most closelyfought, dramatic and emotional finals of the Games putting in a performance that epitomised the spirit of the Olympic Games and that won the support of a nation.  As double Olympic medallist and a triple world champion, Zac has become one of Great Britain’s finest athletes. Zac is now relaying his experiences of the Olympic Games and the importance of the Olympic legacy through after-dinner speaking, corporate appearances, public engagements and ambassadorial roles.
Zac Purchase is one of Britain’s most talented and inspirational athletes. He has has won a string of titles throughout his 7 year career with Team GB, making him the most successful British Lightweight rower in history.
