Tim Campbell MBE

15th February, 2012
Tim Campbell collected his MBE at the Palace yesterday for services to enterprise culture

Tim Campbell won the first ever series of BBC's The Apprentice in 2005 and became Lord Alan Sugar's apprentice before leaving the company in 2008 to start up the Bright Ideas Trust, which offers funding and support for young people wishing to start their own company.

Yesterday Tim was awarded his MBE at the Palace by Prince Charles, he has been recognised for his services to enterprise culture.

His former boss Lord Sugar said he couldn't have been happier for him.  In a tweet he said "Tim Campbell my first Apprentice winner is receiving his MBE at Buckingham Palace this morning. We are all very proud of you. Well done!"

We would like to add our own congratulations to Tim!
