Olivia Godfrey is one of the most recognised faces at Sky Sports News, sending millions of viewers off to work in the morning equipped with all the latest sporting news. She delivers headlines, breaking news and interviews in a vibrant, energetic and refreshing manner. Olivia has been charming the airwaves since July last year, having moved from Sky’s production team into a full-time presenting role.
Away from the Sky Sports desk, Olivia spends her time at many sporting events such as Ascot, Lords, Wimbledon (etc) either interviewing the top players or hosting corporate hospitality. She has a passion for all sports and is a qualified ski instructor. However, Olivia’s interests and broadcasting talent transcends the sporting world. She enjoys a successful modelling career, working with brands such as Evian and featuring in (and on the front cover) of magazines ie Pulse, Style etc.
Olivia has always had an interest in the fashion and entertainment world. After graduating with a degree in American and Canadian Studies from UCLA in L.A, Olivia enjoyed an internship at Warner Bros Records, and on her return to London, she spent time with Fashion PR, Talk PR and Stella McCartney's Press office. She has presented In-digital media, produced content for Elle during the New York and London Fashion weeks and at the British Fashion Awards. Olivia has also worked with Vogue TV, Fashion TV, Net-A-Porter.
Olivia’s warmth and personable nature makes her a very popular host and speaker at any event (from sport to entertainment). She is keen to host all award ceremonies, gala charity dinners, Q&A panels, breakfast meetings, golf days amongst other things. In 2009 Olivia hosted the 'Make it, Break it Awards' live in Liverpool – a national song writing contest for aspiring young musicians. The judging panel included Chris Martin (Coldplay) and Mark Radcliffe (DJ). Olivia has also hosted the launch of the music night 'Go West' – a monthly event for unsigned acts.
