In 2005 Emily was busy in her school’s Design and Technology workshop creating what was to become a life changing product for people all over the world in numerous diverse markets. Emily designed an ergonomic handgrip, originally designed to fit over rowing oars, but as Emily’s business developed, the potential markets expanded. The Oarsome Grips are now used by ocean rowers, indoor rowers, both long and short term crutch users, used in training by Paralympic hopefuls on a wide range of equipment and on the handles of bicycles specifically designed for disabled children.
